I finished The Best of Me, finally! At 11-something pm on the 31st! Cutting it close, I know. It was so good. I really didn't want it to end. I can't write anything about it because I'm really bad at keeping secrets. Just go read it. It is so wonderful. Really, any of Nicholas Sparks' books are wonderful. But you will need the tissue box.
I also finished The Innocence of Father Brown the night before. Pretty cool book about how a Priest uses the sins of man to help solve mysteries. Another good read! And, FREE on Kindle :)
My Reads for February:
Following Atticus by Tom Ryan (Our Max looks just like Atticus - so I had to read about his adventures with his human in the mountains!) Another audio book. I'm 30 minutes in...so, we will see how long this one will take LOL
The 5 Love Languages by Gary Chapman - 1/2 way done - library book due the next week! I was waiting in the waiting room and heard someone talking about how amazing this book was, so I had to check it out.
The Potluck Club Book 2 Trouble's Brewing - I got the 1st book for free on Kindle a while back during some promo and LOVED it. Oh, also a library book due next week. I may have to renew since I haven't even opened it!
I also ordered a book that should be here soon... Beginning to Pray by Anthony Bloom - It's part of the reading list for a Catholic Women's Book Club. I'm not in it, but I follow the blog. That was where I found out about the Father Brown book.
One more - Life of Pi by Yann Martel It seems interesting :)
