Zoo Day!

Last week, I took the guys out to the zoo to celebrate the start of our summer. We went right when they opened and it was so great! It was still cool out - especially for 9am - so the animals were all up and doing stuff. The little guys LOVED it!!

After we finished looking at every single animal - some more than twice, we headed out to the picnic tables under the trees by the car. I had packed us some peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, goldfish, and drinks. Love that I have those sandwiches on hand now! I had made about 30 of them and stuck them in the freezer just for outings. So nice! Andrew picked out the best spot under a huge oak tree that shaded the entire table and more. 

 Ugh, I know, right?! He totally told me NOT to take a picture... He should know me by now - it's been 2.5 years, buddy. Mommy takes pictures all the time! :)

At least Alex doesn't mind just yet, right? He's all about that sandwich.

Since, I've updated our membership, we are definitely going back this week (as long as these storms stay in the afternoons).
